The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement design strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create innovative, user-centered solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored design solutions
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers to help them grow and develop their skills
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure Poatek's design work remains cutting-edge
  • Communicate design decisions and strategies to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams
  • Work closely with engineering, content, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Define and implement design standards and guidelines to maintain consistency across projects
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions and improve project outcomes

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in design leadership, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven design decisions
  • Experience with design tools and software, including Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates design leadership, innovation, and results
