Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical analysis of mechanical components to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
- Develop automation scripts using Python to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform numerical analysis (FEA) of subsea systems, including linear and non-linear analyses, to identify potential issues and optimize designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- CREA registration.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience in structural analysis of mechanical systems.
- Experience in static and dynamic structural analysis of subsea systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proactivity, creativity, ownership mindset, and resilience.
- Mandatory: Strength of Materials, Mathcad, ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Desirable: Python and OrcaFlex.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex problems. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
