Senior Industrial Engineer Job Description

This senior industrial engineer position is a key role in leading the development and execution of complex mechanical engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying advanced engineering methodologies and tools, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Ansys, to design and optimize industrial machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery timelines. They will also be responsible for performing structural analyses and high-complexity calculations, promoting continuous improvement through Lean principles, and ensuring strict compliance with technical standards.

This role requires effective communication with internal clients and contributing actively to a collaborative, high-performance work environment. The successful candidate will be expected to foster a culture of excellence in project documentation and maintain proper organization of project files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mechanical field measurements on various factory machines.
  • Design machinery and equipment using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Produce detailed drawings and assembly layouts.
  • Perform finite element analysis using Ansys and execute complex engineering calculations.
  • Apply Lean methodology in daily activities.
  • Interface technically with internal clients.
  • Analyze and implement improvements and optimizations in equipment and machinery projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Ansys (mandatory); SolidWorks (desirable).
  • Experience in executing mechanical projects and conducting field measurements.
  • Expertise in finite element analysis and complex mechanical calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical materials, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Fluent verbal communication in English.
