Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to play a key role in managing the integrity of financial operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring rigorous control over accounting practices at the local and regional level.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Accurate Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and reliable financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Implement Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with global and local accounting standards and financial controls.
  • Provide Expert Analysis: Provide expert technical analysis and advice to key stakeholders, referring to regional and group finance as necessary.
  • Coordinate Audits: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely availability of documentation and addressing audit findings.
  • Conduct Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Collaborate with other departments such as Corporate Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices, excellent analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools, strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
