Key Responsibilities- Category Development and Management: Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives, drive cost savings, and improve supplier performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Manage and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with Carrier's procurement policies.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing projects, including RFx, continuous improvement, and consolidation.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Develop and execute negotiation strategies, including supplier profiles, commercial targets, switching costs, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Risk Management: Monitor supplier risk, develop mitigation plans, and manage category/commodity inflation.
- Financial Performance: Ensure cash flow, spend under contract, and productivity targets are met.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field, or Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Category/Commodity Management, with a strong background in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive business results.
- Direct experience: Direct experience in the development and management of a global supply chain.
- Experience managing spend: Experience managing spend for ~$400M.
- Industry knowledge: Experience in the fabrication of copper and aluminum.
- Work location: Agrees to work on site and commute to Santa Catarina.
- Work hours: Availability from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Travel requirements: Ability to travel up to 25% (global).
