Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a hotel’s housekeeping team, ensuring seamless customer service standards are met and facilities remain clean and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and train new staff members to ensure they meet high standards.
  • Coordinate schedules and tasks for the housekeeping team, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain effective communication with guests, addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering office supplies in a timely manner and stocking reception areas adequately.
  • Foster collaboration between housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, working closely with the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Coordinate with reception to verify room readiness, guaranteeing efficient cleaning services.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to keep public areas, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, desks, fans, offices, carpets, and F&B spaces clean.
  • Notify the Operations Manager when necessary supplies need to be ordered.
  • Maintain a clean and fully stocked kitchen, assisting with daily purchases and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • More than 2 years of experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related field.
