The Post Doctoral Research Associate position plays a pivotal component in our research initiatives.
This role involves conducting complex research or analyses involving scientific methods or a series of steps.
Responsibilities include overseeing or conducting critical parts of research projects, day-to-day coordination of a research group, and execution of project components.
This position typically reports to a Principal Investigator (PI) and requires collaboration with institute staff, researchers, and external partners.
Main accountabilities include assisting in literature reviews, formulating guidelines for applying research findings, serving as an advisor, conducting workshops, making public presentations, and performing administrative work in support of research objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in conducting literature reviews needed to successfully complete a major project.
- Assist in developing guidelines for applying research findings to educational practice.
- Serve as an advisor and work closely with staff in the conduct of classroom field research under the direction of the PI.
- Conduct workshops and make public presentations regarding research projects.
- Perform administrative work in support of research objectives, develop and monitor project budgets, and authorize expenditures.
- Design, fabricate, repair, and operate research equipment for data development as required.
- Plan and coordinate computerized statistical analyses for advanced research projects, consulting with other researchers to derive an understanding of hypotheses and experimental approaches.
