Job Description
This role will report to the Director of Commercial Operations Signaling & Systems and be based in either Juiz de Fora, Brazil or Contagem. As a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, you will lead a team of professionals and manage the entire ITO process, from receiving customer inquiries to generating proposals and closing deals.
You will ensure that your team delivers high-quality proposals on time and within budget, while complying with company standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ITO Process: Receive customer inquiries, generate proposals, and close deals.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Commercial Proposals: Provide competitive commercial proposals that meet customer requirements and business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Directors and Account Managers to ensure customer needs are met and commercial aspects of deals are aligned with company objectives.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor, coordinate, technically train, and coach junior-level team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Contract Management: Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience in a similar role, with experience in managing people and complex train control and signaling engineering proposals.
- Strong leadership skills, good communication, and business acumen.
- Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies and proposals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Sales and Account Managers.
- Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of legal and financial requirements for contracts.
- Spoken and written proficiency in English is a must.

As a candidate, you should have a strong educational background, relevant work experience, and excellent leadership and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a strong understanding of commercial strategies and risk management.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
