Regional Payroll Expert

We are seeking an experienced Regional Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of regional payroll entries and transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate payroll activities with other departments; administer adjustment pay and termination pay processes, and provide timely reporting of payroll data to Accounting.
- Liaise with the Regional Payroll Manager for payroll reporting, data analysis, and audit projects.
- Monitor reconciliation of garnishments, tax levies, general deductions, and payroll-related employment inquiries with HR team members.
- Fulfill salary adjustments outside the standard cycle for country payrolls (e.g. advances, off-cycle payroll runs, terminations).
- Bachelor's degree with major coursework in Finance, HR management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Strong fluency in English and Portuguese with good communication skills.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in multi-country, multi-client, fast-paced payroll environments handling payroll &/or HR administration.
- Demonstrable experience in problem-solving in cross-functional or matrix teams.
- Organized: strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete tasks according to deadlines.
- Seasoned IT and systems user with the ability to quickly grasp/develop system input needs.
- Multinational payroll implementation/onboarding skills preferred.
