We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Malta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various sectors in the region.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Establishing New Business Relationships: Identify and address opportunities for foreign exchange and payment solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Cold Calling and Client Management: Research and analyze clients' business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how Convera can best meet their needs.
  • Networking and Solution Presentation: Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that encompass the client's entire international payment needs and complex Forex solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales and pipeline reports and competitor information.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong Sales Background: Proven ability to build a pipeline and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Ambitious and Self-Motivated: Confident with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of business needs and concerns, and ability to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Deep understanding of consultative sales principles, adept at executive corporate level negotiations, and able to build long-term client relationships.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Industry: Familiarity with Foreign Exchange and Payments is a plus.
