Key Role in Scientific Leadership

This position provides strategic scientific leadership to foster credible relationships with key thought leaders and external experts of significant importance.

The Medical Science Liaison will support internal teams such as sales and marketing, and members of the Affiliate Brand Team, by delivering scientific update presentations to enhance their expertise.

The MSL will assist in the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of assigned clinical studies and medical projects within the designated therapeutic area.

The MSL will serve as a point of contact with thought leaders to facilitate investigator-initiated study ideas and requests for support to local and global medical teams as necessary.

The MSL will deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, individually or in groups, focusing on Tier 1, 2, and 3 thought leaders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic scientific leadership to ensure professional and credible relationships with key thought leaders and external experts.
  • Support internal teams such as sales and marketing, and members of the Affiliate Brand Team, through scientific update presentations.
  • Assist in the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of assigned clinical studies and medical projects within the designated therapeutic area.
  • Serve as a point of contact with thought leaders to facilitate investigator-initiated study ideas and requests for support.
  • Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, focusing on Tier 1, 2, and 3 thought leaders.
Requirements:
  • Experience in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for the assigned therapeutic area, and in medical research in general.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs in advancing medical and scientific objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in scientific methods applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory controls.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop strong collaborative relationships.
  • A good understanding of written and oral English is desirable.
  • High customer orientation.
  • Strong commitment to compliance with relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.
