Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee the organization's financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Support customer invoicing and sales tax calculation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Contribute to financial process improvements and IT system enhancements (e.g., CRM, Oracle ERP).
Month-End Closing and Reporting:
  • Oversee the contract accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing and financial statements are submitted.
  • Coordinate stock take and fixed assets take procedures.
Tax Compliance and Annual Audit Support:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with tax consultants to prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Support group annual audit procedures (i.e. audit confirmations and PBC list).
Cash Management:
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Own the cash management function and liaison with treasury administrator.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgets.
