Lead Data Strategist

About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business decisions with data insights. As a Lead Data Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering data products that support our sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver end-to-end data products, including data governance, quality, timeliness, and discoverability.
  • Prioritize development items based on deadlines, business context, and technical need.
  • Bridge conversations between stakeholders and technical teams using business domain knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, resilience, and innovation in our data landscape.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in a data and analytics function.
  • 4+ years of product ownership or leadership in the development of data and analytical products.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP data in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in sustainability and/or manufacturing supply chain is a plus.
  • Management consulting experience is always a plus.

Candidate Profile:

  • A strong understanding of data and analytics principles, including data warehousing, analyzing and visualizing data, SQL, critical thinking, and basic understanding of machine learning.
  • Familiarity with sustainability or supply chain in consumer goods or manufacturing contexts.
  • Natural ability to lead, manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in a well-organized and structured way.
  • Growth/digital mindset and ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cloud experience with data solutions like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Design and data visualization experience.
  • InTEGRITY and sound judgment in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies.
