Our Team is looking for a seasoned leader to manage our partnerships with key news industry stakeholders. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals working on developing and executing our strategy to engage with associations and drive innovation in the region. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the business landscape and be able to navigate ambiguity to deliver results.
Responsibilities:
    Manage relationships with key industry stakeholders, including associations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize engagement strategies.
    Develop programs and products that support the Google News Initiative (GNI) and execute on a deeper GNI presence as needed with country teams and target stakeholders.
    Evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to management teams to inform strategic decisions.
    Manage a team of industry relationship managers working in the market, focusing on professional accomplishment and well-being.
Requirements:
    10+ years of experience working in partnerships, corporate communications, management consulting, private equity, go-to-market strategy, or sales.
    Experience working in the news industry and ability to speak and write fluently in English and Portuguese.
    Ability to build trusted relationships, influence key decisions, or drive urgency on key priorities.
    Knowledge of the business and public policy landscape.
