About the Resource Management Position

This is not a scheduling function; it's a high-impact position that sits at the nexus of company operations and strategic initiatives. As a Senior Resource Management Analyst, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of resource allocation, from forecasting to daily management, driving efficiency and on-time delivery across project portfolios.

  • You'll proactively forecast future staffing requirements by analyzing sales pipelines, committed projects, and strategic business initiatives.
  • You'll conduct comprehensive audits of current workforces to document skill sets and identify areas of under- or over-utilization.
  • You'll advise senior leadership on key strategic decisions, including hiring full-time employees versus engaging contractors to fill skills gaps.
  • You'll identify future skills gaps by comparing forecasted demand with current capacity, informing strategic hiring, training, and contractor engagement decisions.
  • You'll model 'what-if' scenarios, assessing the resource impact of major business events like contract wins or personnel changes.
  • You'll serve as the central point of contact for all resource requests, matching staff to projects based on skills, availability, priority, and budget, optimizing staffing across portfolios.
  • You'll act as a neutral broker to identify, mediate, and resolve resource conflicts arising when multiple projects compete for the same talent.
  • You'll maintain our Professional Services Automation platform as the single source of truth for all resource data.
  • You'll track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators such as billable utilization, bench time, and forecast accuracy.
