Role Summary

This position involves providing therapy services within a school setting. The role requires the candidate to engage with students, parents, and colleagues in the treatment process.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes for youth and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 90% of time providing billable services within the school setting, including counseling, collateral contacts, and administrative tasks.
  • Engage students and/or their family members in the treatment process for approximately 50% of working hours.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned supervisor to review caseload and progress according to program guidelines.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned.
  • Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established program expectations and timeframes.
  • Administer assigned clinical assessments to students on their caseload and complete dictation according to established program protocols and timeframes.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a counseling or related human services discipline; some schools may require licensure eligibility.
  • Candidates must demonstrate maturity, dependability, sound judgment, and serve as an appropriate role model to youth and families.
