Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cultural Liaison Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating company products and business-related documents from English to Portuguese (Brazil) or from Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil), with a strong emphasis on precision, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess excellent linguistic skills, including proficiency in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
  • In addition to translation experience, the selected candidate will be expected to update and maintain the Portuguese (Brazil) termbase of products, ensuring that all terminology is accurate and up-to-date.
  • As a Cultural Liaison Specialist, you will be responsible for product localization to improve user experience, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of translated content.
  • Other responsibilities may include providing language support for internal stakeholders, contributing to the development of marketing materials, and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure high-quality translations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as linguistics, languages, or international business.
  • Excellent command of Brazilian Portuguese, with native-like fluency, and a solid understanding of English or Chinese.
  • Proven experience in translation, localization, and project management, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in CAT tools, such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling, with experience using specialized software and systems.
  • Familiarity with financial and technical terminology, particularly in the areas of finance, securities, futures, and digital currency.
