Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Ski Boot Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing expert advice on ski boot fitting, and ensuring that our guests leave the shop with properly fitted boots.

Responsibilities:

  • Boot Fitting Expertise: Conduct professional boot fittings using knowledge of foot anatomy and ski boot technology to ensure a perfect fit for each guest.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, greeting customers warmly, listening to their needs, and offering personalized advice on ski equipment.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in ski boots, footbeds, and customization techniques to make informed product recommendations.
  • Customization & Adjustments: Perform boot modifications, including heat molding, shell adjustments, and insoles to optimize comfort and performance.
  • Sales Support: Assist with the sale of ski equipment and accessories, providing insight on other related products such as socks and protective gear.
  • Guest Experience: Engage with guests to understand their skiing style, skill level, and preferences to guide them toward the best boot options.
  • Inventory & Merchandising: Assist in maintaining organized displays, tracking inventory, and ensuring that all boot fitting tools and equipment are in working condition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the retail team to ensure smooth shop operations and collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • License/Certifications: Bootfitting Certification is required.
  • Technical: Comfortable with computers and able to learn Point of Sale software.
  • Physical Capabilities: Must be able to stand for a full shift.
