Project Manager Role Overview

This position involves overseeing the execution of high-value construction projects. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a section of the build, ensuring all designs are executed as per specifications and any changes are effectively resolved and documented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review tender documents, 2D drawings, BIM models & asset data in accordance with ISO19650 standards.
  • Identify and resolve conflicting design elements through requests for information (RFIs) and change of information (CVIs).
  • Oversee civil/infrastructure design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support Design Manager in developing key project documentation, including project execution plans and quality assurance/quality control plans.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary data and proactively mitigate potential constraints.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs/CVIs to ensure clarity and timely responses.
  • Assist in subcontractor coordination, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Track drawing delivery schedules and support timely document submittals.
  • Liaise with planning teams to update working programmes and address technical queries from site personnel.
  • Support temporary works design, including tower cranes, hoists, and formwork systems.
  • Contribute to value engineering initiatives and manage as-built/redline drawing processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical project management role within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks/Revizto, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat software.
  • Strong understanding of design review processes and technical coordination.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
