The Development Fundraiser will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing fundraising initiatives to support the school's mission and goals.
This role requires a strong communicator with experience in building relationships with donors, sponsors, alumni and community partners. The coordinator will also work closely with the leadership to implement effective development campaigns, foster a culture of giving and increase community engagement.
- Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan to meet the school's financial and development goals.
- Organize and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns and initiatives such as capital campaigns, online giving drives and alumni engagement events.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and current donors, sponsors and partners. Develop and implement donor recognition programs.
- Research, identify and apply for grants and sponsorship opportunities that align with the school's mission.
- Work with alumni to foster lifelong connections to the school and encourage giving.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising content including newsletters, social media posts and donor appeals.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor contributions and financial reports. Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred.
- English fluency is essential for this position as communication with international stakeholders will be a core part of the role.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience is desired.
