Software Tester Role

We're seeking an experienced software tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive manual testing.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute thorough manual test cases and test scripts based on system specifications and requirements;
  • Develop multiple test scenarios, including non-traditional test cases, negative testing, edge cases, and performance considerations, to ensure robust product validation;
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements, plan testing processes, and identify issues for correction;
  • Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identify defects;
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams, primarily using project management tools;
  • Troubleshoot issues and help identify root causes of defects;
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test reports, and test documentation, with experience in tools like automation frameworks;
  • Participate actively in Agile-Scrum development processes, providing valuable feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement;
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with manual testing;
  • 1-2 years of experience with automation frameworks and programming languages;
  • Proven experience in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts;
  • Proficiency with tools like project management software, version control systems, and testing platforms;
  • Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills;
  • Basic database knowledge (e.g., relational databases);
  • Experience with testing application software hosted in cloud environments;
  • Ability to think outside the box to develop multiple scenarios and identify non-traditional test cases, incorporating negative testing and edge cases;
  • Quick learner with a passion for troubleshooting;
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Dynamic and proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in work;
  • Excellent organizational skills, including a good sense of priority management and the ability to quickly adapt to change;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
