AWS Cloud Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Optimization Specialist to join our team at Amazon AWS Services Brazil Ltd. As a key member of our customer success team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success for our customers by creating and delivering executive-level content, serving as a subject matter expert in cost and commercial aspects throughout the customer life-cycle, and empowering clients with tools for effective cloud and IT spend management.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Advisor: Collaborate with our account team to build and deliver executive content, including financial business cases, Return on Investment and Total Cost of Ownership Analysis, cost optimization strategies.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become the go-to expert in all cost and commercial related aspects of the customer life-cycle.
- Customer Enablement: Educate and enable customers with tools to successfully manage cloud and IT spend.
- Reporting and Analytics: Assess reporting and analytic needs of customers and identify solutions and approaches to meet those needs.
- KPI Management: Communicate, establish, and measure KPIs to track progress and success of transformation and optimization within customer organizations.
- Request Management: Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically.
- Billing and Forecasting: Understand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices.
As a Cloud Optimization Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers, each with unique challenges and opportunities. Your day may include:
- Reviewing usage patterns and forecasting costs to identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborating with customers to develop tailored plans to streamline their cloud utilization and reduce costs.
- Working with customers to implement best practices for cloud adoption and cost management.
