What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a leader to support the growth of our MSP, MSSP, Ecosystem, and Strategic managed partner business across North America.

This role is critical in driving adoption, building strong partner relationships, and evangelizing our solutions across the Americas.

As a first-line leader, you will report to the Sr. Director of Partner Solutions Engineering for North America and will manage a high-performing team of MSSP Partner SEs.

Your team will focus on enabling the MSSP ecosystem, positioning SentinelOne's technology within partner offerings, selling to the managed partner base, conducting demos, delivering technical training, Proof of Values, assisting partners with pre and post-sales activities, and assisting with escalations.

Your role will be responsible for building a robust SE strategy to scale the business nationally, while cultivating long-term relationships with partners, and the SentinelOne field and Product/Engineering teams.

The role requires excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills, experience with MSP/MSSPs, distributors, aggregators, and strategic partners along with strong familiarity with EDR, XDR, SIEM, and cloud technologies.

You and your team will help prospective partners understand the benefits of SentinelOne, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks all while building champions that will be equally as passionate about SentinelOne.

  • Practice & Service Development : Support partner GTM strategies and co-create joint solutions and offerings
  • Technical Sales Success : Drive technical success across the entire customer and partner journey
  • Community Building : Own your franchise and build a network of trusted cohorts

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and mentor top talent to support partner development and sales activities
  • Work with the Managed partner team to identify and qualify partnership opportunities, identify key partner technical objections, competition, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers and scale the partner sales business
  • Bring feedback from partners and end customers to product management to improve the SentinelOne's solution
  • Drive follow-ups with partner resources to consistently deliver messaging how SentinelOne adds value to the partner and their customers.
  • Plan and create go-to-market initiatives and offerings with SentinelOne partners and
  • Develop and execute technical training plans for partners.
  • Own the technical relationship with SentinelOne's partners, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Support the SEs and deliver demonstrations and work hands-on with partners to demonstrate SentinelOne's value in the partner's environment or solutions.
  • Be motivated by partner success and growing partner relationships.

What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?

  • 10 Years+ in field, 3+ years Sales Engineering experience
  • 3+ Years as a first or second line leadership
  • Exceptional track record of growing managed partner technical sales team
  • Strong background in building relationships with internal sales and product teams
  • Experience presenting and delivering technical demos and sales values presentations to varying audiences from architects to C-level executives.
  • Technical experience/skills for the successful candidate:
    • Previous experience as a practitioner at a MSSP, MSP, MDR, IR partner or in a SOC.
    • Familiarity with SIEM or other data lake solutions
    • A strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity security and endpoint security solutions is ideal for success in this role or similar in tech/software industry.
  • Experience working with cloud computing environments (e.g. technical sales, devops, security, sales engineering or similar role)
  • Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments--especially as relates to security and compliance
  • Experience with AWS Azure, and/or GCP. Azure a plus
  • Familiarity with modern cloud environments, e.g. containerized workloads, serverless computing, and microservices architectures
    • Experience working with CSPs, channel, MSP/MSSPs, GSIs, or alliances partners.
    • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
