The Strategic Business Expansion Director oversees the development and implementation of novel product and business strategies aligned with marketing and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities encompass managing launch platforms, structuring volume and coverage for each project, negotiating project goals with partners, and developing written annual business plans.
Additionally, this role requires the individual to be accountable for sales function priorities, including planning, budgets, and review. They will also establish relationships with key customers, execute sales, and plan to exceed volume, operating profit, and market share objectives.
This position necessitates strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate should possess at least ten years of experience in retail, wholesaler, or distributor sales environment, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Finance.
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is crucial. Additionally, the individual must be able to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
