Financial Analyst Position

Job Summary

As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for performing daily and month/quarter-end close activities. This role requires providing accounting support in the general accounting area.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare journal entries from source documentation, summarizing data, evaluating reliability, and verifying account coding.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly balance sheet reconciliations according to corporate policy. Ensure reconciliations agree to the source ledger, have clear explanations, and resolve unidentified differences promptly.
  • Investigate and propose approaches for resolving issues or accounting around new items.
  • Meet tight deadlines consistently and reliably, communicating any missed deadlines to your supervisor.
  • Maintain process documentation and update it as processes change.
  • Respond to internal, external, and audit inquiries.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' job-related experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, nomenclature, procedures, advanced accounting, Excel.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Microsoft office (advanced Excel).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
