Key Responsibilities- Evaluate economic feasibility for open-pit operations, including pit optimization, mine design, and long-term planning.
- Provide technical advisory services and contribute to business development, including project due diligence, investment support, and stakeholder communication.
- Deliver value through analytical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative leadership.
Core Competencies:
- Estimate CAPEX and OPEX for open-pit operations.
- Conduct economic evaluations at conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility levels.
- Optimize pit design, mine planning, and strategic mine planning.
- Size, select, and cost model equipment fleets.
- Support business development and investment, including M&A technical input.
- Advisory services for project audits, technical reviews, and due diligence.
- Proficiency in mining software: Whittle, Surpac, MineSched, MineSight.
- Prepare NI 43-101 and JORC Code technical reports.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Portuguese.
