Business Development Manager II

TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams are responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing business development strategies that drive growth and innovation in the renewable energy sector. As a Business Development Manager II, you will play a key role in developing and executing new projects and accounts with key stakeholders in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive-level relationships and key decision-makers, to position TE Connectivity as a preferred supplier.
- Turn initial PV system conceptual ideas into fully developed optimized EPC/Owner designs.
- Prepare or review designs for solar plants and other renewable projects to create customized connectivity solutions for large-scale solar installations.
- Research and develop new technologies for new product development and stay current on technological developments in the field.
- Actively monitor and maintain KPIs of customer performance standards and promote the value that TE brings to the customer.
- Financial tracking and reporting of strategy and business development efforts, regional performance, and business planning results.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in solar and renewable energy.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles.
- Preference will be given to candidates with technical backgrounds and experience with solar and energy storage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on listening to the customer.
- Working knowledge of engineering design, procurement, and construction practices and procedures.
