We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pedagogical Coordinator to join our team at Red House International School.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Implementation: Manage the implementation of curricular guidelines established by the network in the school.
- Student Safety: Be co-responsible for the safety and physical integrity of students.
- School Calendar Planning: Help plan the school calendar, including meetings, field trips, and other events, following the network's guidelines.
- Professional Development: Attend training and supervision with specialists in specific areas, promoted by Red House headquarters.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Daily monitoring of the school routine, suggesting improvements to ensure the smooth running of activities and correcting any failures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the process of recruiting head teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring the hiring of the best professionals.
- Pedagogical Guidance: Act in the pedagogical environment, presenting the teaching system, school calendar, procedures, and standards of the institution.
- Team Supervision: Guide the activities of the pedagogical team, ensuring the necessary actions with students and family members whenever necessary.
- Student Documentation: Monitor the organization of all student documentation, supervising the work of the school secretary.
- Schedule Management: Plan, follow, and monitor the schedule of the pedagogical team, including entry and exit times, lunch, bank of hours, and vacations.
- Winter and Summer Camps: Plan, prepare, and monitor Winter and Summer Camps, if they occur at the unit.
- Other Tasks: Perform other related tasks determined by the immediate superior.
- Education: Degree in Pedagogy.
- Experience: 3 or 4 years of professional classroom/coordination experience, with work experience in an international school.
- Languages: Fluent/Native English.
- Technical Knowledge: School management, competent legislation, BNCC, and people management.
- Desirable Knowledge: IB methodology.
- Soft Skills and Values: Digital thinking, caring profile, interpersonal relationships, and conflict management.
