Job Opportunity: Financial Controller

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our global team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role is part of a fixed-term contract position and involves actively overseeing accounting, financial controlling, administration, and reporting processes.

This dynamic role requires the candidate to work closely with the Controlling Lead to execute tasks related to the financial aspects of projects led by Brazil, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal financial controls.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow for the construction phase of projects to ensure available cash to make required payments.
  • Update and analyze reports, communicate deviations and overruns to relevant stakeholders, and lead the payment process for project invoices.
  • Ensure that financial internal controls at local and group levels are well-preserved and performed.
  • Oversee main contracts and commitments related to Project construction and provide relevant information to Finance and EPC teams.
  • Provide clarification, explanations, and evidence regarding financial aspects of the project to auditors and partners when required.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience within finance, accounting, auditing, tax, and internal controls.
  • Experience with financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with internal controls.
  • Basic Tax knowledge.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working in a diverse cultural environment.
