Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to drive the financial integrity and day-to-day operations of our Brazilian business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

The Head of Finance will oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. This role is critical in ensuring the company maintains high standards of financial discipline and operational resilience.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to enable strategic decision-making
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations
  • Act as the company's statutory representative before relevant authorities
  • Assist with external audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or audit
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a finance role within a financial services company
  • Familiarity with Central Bank of Brazil and CVM regulations
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, capital markets operations, and regulatory financial frameworks
  • Proficient in financial software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
