Job Title: Duty Manager

Welcome to Accor Hotels, where we strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Desk and providing top-notch service to our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily briefings to ensure all team members are well-informed and equipped to handle guest needs.
  • Supervise and manage tasks to ensure highest quality service delivery and adherence to department standards.
  • Analyze rate variance reports to optimize room revenue control and approve discounts and rebates.
  • Communicate effectively with Front Office Manager and other departments to address guest services and hotel operations issues.
  • Ensure documentation of guest-related issues and maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and back-of-house environment.
  • Provide management presence by assisting with guest needs and complaints, and ensuring front-line staff adheres to marketing techniques and maximizes sales.
  • Coordinate full-house situations, handle overbooking and pledge relocates, and ensure Safety, Security, and Loss Control policies are complied with.
  • Conduct Night Audit Process for the hotel and provide department orientation and training to team members.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Results and service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Team player and builder.
