About the RoleThis position involves promoting and restoring patients' health through the completion of the nursing process. You will assess patient conditions, coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care, including assessing patient conditions, coordinating care, prioritizing tasks, and delegating responsibilities.
- Develop independent nursing interventions appropriate to the patient's response to care.
- Document interventions and their resultant responses, and audit aggregate performance to improve systems that support patient care.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Previous acute care experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 18 months of employment and maintained throughout employment.
