Job Description:

The Pediatric Respiratory Therapist is a key member of the healthcare team responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory disorders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

This position involves administering inhalants and aerosolized medications, performing bronchial hygiene, operating mechanical ventilators, delivering therapeutic gas administration, and performing hyperinflation modalities per established respiratory protocols. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, documenting patient services, and participating in continuing education to maintain licensure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
  • Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapy license required
  • 1-2 years of experience in all areas of respiratory care preferred
  • Clinical experience in pediatric respiratory therapy highly valued
