Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Senior Associate

Overview

As a key member of our Financial Actuarial & Analytics Community, you will contribute to complex analyses and projects involving healthcare and group benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge of client complexities by working across different profiles and roles.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in employee benefit plan design, underwriting, funding concepts, and health tools.
  • Serve as a key member on multiple client teams, providing financial analyses and deliverables.
  • Provide guidance on benefit plan analysis, design, cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies.
  • Review technical accuracy on client projects, including pricing, employee contributions, and calculating reserves.
  • Effectively communicate complex financial results to drive client action.
  • Partner with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams for project management.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in professional services, preferably in benefit consulting or actuarial roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products and services.
  • Experience with big data analytics techniques is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of underwriting and funding concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality outputs.
  • Ability to build and expand client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with limited information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
