Senior Risk Governance Lead

The Senior Risk Governance Lead will partner with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of strategic outcomes. This includes informing and advising on risk and control issues, initiatives, and updates that impact the organization.

They will support in managing the organization's risk profile, as well as designing strong sustainable controls.

As a key leader within the function, they will enable colleagues to deliver safe and secure services to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring robust risk governance and stakeholder visibility of key risks and remediation activity.
  • Partnering and advising on setting, communicating, and monitoring risk appetite in line with business requirements.
  • Conducting high-quality and efficient reviews of control performance.
  • Facilitating controls remediation where required.
  • Raising awareness and understanding of risks, controls, and risk management.
Requirements:Knowledge and Capabilities:
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in Risk Management framework and its applicability, analysis of metrics and reporting.
  • Ability to develop trusted adviser status with key stakeholders through SME expertise, industry experience, and track record.
Experience:
  • 8-10 years of industry experience in senior positions working in areas of Non-Financial Risk Management, In Business risk and control, Risk Management Governance, Operational Risk, Audit, and Risk Stewardship.
  • Prior experience of working in a global matrixed organization is needed.
Qualifications and Accreditations:
  • Bachelor degree minimum.
  • Excellent English writing and oral skills are mandatory (Spanish is a plus).
