Configuration Specialist for Grant Administration Systems

This role involves configuring, optimizing and maintaining the Workday Grants Management module to support efficient post-award administration.
Key responsibilities include analyzing research expenditures and labor distributions in Workday to support federal reporting and internal decision-making.
- Configuring and maintaining Workday Grants Management modules to ensure alignment with institutional post-award business practices.
- Triage and resolving system issues impacting grant award setup, invoicing, financial reporting and effort certification.
The analyst will work across functional areas to optimize and sustain a compliant and responsive Workday environment for sponsored programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of Workday Grants Management and post-award administration is required, as well as experience working with functional areas such as Post Award Services, Grants and Contracts Accounting and Sponsored Programs.
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills are necessary to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external consultants.
