Advanced Embedded Systems Developer

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Embedded Systems Specialist. We are looking for highly skilled professionals with expertise in operating system kernel internals and concepts.
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel code, working closely with internal and external upstream maintainers.
- Collaborate regularly with a globally distributed team, ensuring seamless delivery of Ubuntu Linux kernels across various hardware platforms.
- Work closely with silicon, cloud, or hardware manufacturer delivery teams on bleeding-edge platforms, identifying and resolving issues reported by customers, the community, or discovered through rigorous testing.
- Significant programming experience in C, with Python, Golang, or other similar languages being highly regarded.
- Expertise in operating system kernel internals and concepts, with Linux being highly desirable but not essential.
- Solid background in git and version control systems.
- Professional written and spoken English, with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to travel twice a year for company events up to two weeks each.
