As a key member of the Merck Sharp & Dohme team, you will play a crucial role in driving technology and data strategy to support commercial activities in LATAM.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business strategy and be able to translate it into an integrated business/technology & analytics strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning of digital capabilities with a focus on commercial capabilities in support of sales, marketing, and market access.
  • Developing strategic partnerships with senior leaders and becoming a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
  • Building, promoting, and developing a strong and highly engaged IT team with flexible skills aligned with the fast-evolving business strategy.
  • Driving and maintaining an in-depth understanding of local market technology skillsets relevant to our business strategy and building corresponding engagement models.
  • Partnering with local business to map and understand the external local healthcare ecosystem and drive key partnerships from a technology and data angle.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, or Business.
  • Demonstrated track record of success as a technology leader working with business leadership teams in pharmaceutical or other technology-advanced industries.
  • Good understanding of the role of data and analytics in current business strategy and knowledge/experience of technology development and deployment of innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills, team building, and collaboration in a highly matrixed organization.

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.
