Transforming the world with clean electricity requires a unique blend of technical expertise and project management savvy. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the development, coordination and review of designs and technical standards for utility scale solar and BESS projects.

You will oversee engineering service providers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards. This includes driving technical excellence and supervision during design and construction phases, as well as establishing and maintaining technical specifications for facilities and equipment.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Oversight: Lead technical oversight during design and construction, ensuring value-engineered solutions that meet project specifications and enhance system performance.
  • Technical Excellence: Drive technical excellence and provide supervision for the design and construction phases of the project.
  • Engineering Service Providers: Oversee engineering service providers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Junior Engineer Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Relevant qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar and BESS project engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams &/or consultants and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE standards, EPC processes, and interconnection requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, SCADA, and Primavera.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
