Job Summary:
As a Regional Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the regional procurement strategy to achieve business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives and ensure alignment with global goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Regional Procurement Strategy: Establish and execute a multi-year procurement plan that aligns with the company's global strategy.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with Category Management, Group Sites, and Affiliates to ensure coordination and alignment on procurement initiatives.
- Manage Procurement Network: Oversee the procurement network, prioritize actions, and manage resources to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide Insights to Global Organization: Feed the global organization with inputs related to mid-term strategy and provide recommendations to support business growth.
- Represent Procurement Team in Projects and Business Reviews: Represent the procurement team in projects and business reviews, providing expertise and insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor Procurement Spend: Track and analyze procurement spend to ensure categorization and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement: Work with Global Procurement to define target vendors and suppliers' footprint.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate direct materials and indirect spends with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Seek Continuous Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through new suppliers and renegotiations with existing ones.
- Support Transformation Initiatives: Support transformation initiatives and deliver savings aligned with procurement targets and objectives.
- Coordinate and Present KPIs: Coordinate and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or Logistics: A degree in a relevant field is essential.
- Master's Degree / MBA (Desirable): A postgraduate degree can be beneficial but is not required.
- Minimum 5/7 Years' Experience in Procurement: The candidate should have a proven track record in procurement, with experience in managing procurement networks and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English and Advanced Spanish: The candidate must be fluent in English and have advanced proficiency in Spanish.
- Vision, Collaboration, Team Working Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
- Adapted to Matrix Reporting Environment: The candidate should be comfortable working in a matrix reporting environment and navigating complex organizational structures.
