Senior Risk Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our liquidity risk management team in Brazil. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for shaping the future of finance.

About the Role
  • Develop and maintain standards for managing liquidity risk, including risk appetite, balance sheet management, funding plans, and responses to changes in regulations
  • Create and implement risk management policies, procedures, limits, stress testing capabilities, analytics, and reporting infrastructure
  • Engage with first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging liquidity risks, including new product risk assessments
  • Deliver financial regulatory reports
  • Model liquidity risks under various stress scenarios with appropriate assumptions and calibrations
  • Monitor liquidity risk exposures versus established limits (internal and regulatory)
  • Investigate risk events, produce related MI reports, and escalate breaches to the appropriate committee
About You
  • Prior experience in liquidity risk management
  • Expertise in liquidity risk issues and methodologies, balance sheet dynamics, and income statements
  • An understanding of financial products and key liquidity risk drivers
  • Knowledge of risk-related regulations and their application/impact in the financial industry
  • Experience implementing and delivering liquidity reports (DRL, IRRBB)
  • An understanding of various stress testing methodologies along with practical experience with model development, implementation, and governance
  • The ability to break complex problems into smaller ones and to enjoy working with data to facilitate your work
  • The ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, and drive change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
