Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Aid Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing FAFSA data, determining federal aid eligibility, and exercising discretion in deviating from federal methodology when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze FAFSA (federal) data for graduate students to determine federal aid eligibility under federal methodology, working closely with the Associate Director of Operations and Customer Service and the Associate Director of Graduate and Professional Programs.
  2. Exercise discretion in determining when it may be appropriate to invoke authority to use professional judgment to deviate from federal methodology on a case-by-case basis.
  3. Monitor enrollment during drop/add, adjusting aid budgets and financial aid accordingly to avoid over-awards.
  4. Manage the financial aid process for graduate programs, keeping pace with program growth and student progression between full-time and part-time status.
  5. Develop/enhance annual/quarterly federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) reports for federally mandated SAP reviews.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, or education.
