Software Engineering Manager

The Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our cross-functional team in building Fuel iX, an AI platform that empowers enterprises to manage and accelerate AI-fueled intelligent experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and evolving our industry-leading AI engine, ensuring it delivers flexibility, control, productivity, and trust to our global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a team of software engineers building digital products, with a focus on growing the team through goal-setting, coaching, and feedback.
  2. Oversee the delivery of complete digital products, with code that is durable, secure, scalable, and thoroughly tested.
  3. Collaborate with international teams and clients to deliver software in an agile environment.
  4. Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines, Agile techniques, and shift-left testing methodologies.
  5. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of professional engineering experience, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
  2. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering digital products, and growing engineers through coaching and feedback.
  3. Strong understanding of CI/CD, Agile techniques, and shift-left testing methodologies.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work in a hybrid model, with regular travel to our offices in São Paulo and Porto Alegre.
