Infrastructure Systems Administrator

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our team. As an integral part of our infrastructure operations, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our datacenter infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in datacenter administration, virtualization, and storage systems. You should be proficient in managing complex systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
  • Administer virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of critical systems
  • Perform regular backups and monitor backup processes
  • Monitor system performance and capacity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new applications and services
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with vendors and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in datacenter administration, with a focus on virtualization and storage
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, with expertise in server administration and scripting
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Azure
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
