Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a School-Based Communication Specialist in a supportive educational environment. As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the chance to contribute your expertise and make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

The role involves conducting speech and language assessments for elementary students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.

As a School-Based Communication Specialist, you will have the autonomy to work independently while being part of a larger team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of therapy provided and student progress, and participating in meetings related to student educational planning as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
  • Valid School-Based SLP Certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
