Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families in a school setting, and will be able to provide counseling services, collateral contacts, and administrative work.

This role requires the ability to spend 90% of time providing billable services within the school setting, including counseling services, collateral contacts, and administrative work. Additionally, the candidate must be able to regularly meet with assigned supervisors to review current caseloads and progress per program guidelines.

The successful candidate will also be required to attend and actively engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned. They will need to complete and submit all required clinical documentation in the electronic health record professionally and within established timeframes.

Key responsibilities include administering assigned clinical assessments to all students on caseload and completing dictation according to program timeframes and protocols. The candidate will also be responsible for completing other assigned paperwork for the program and/or grant funding in a timely manner.


Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a counseling or related human services discipline is required. Some schools require school-based therapists to be license-eligible.
  • The ideal candidate will be mature, dependable, with sound judgment, and a positive role model for youth and families.

Work Environment
