This role is critical in maintaining a positive, ethical, and legally compliant work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of labor and employment law, with experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Conduct thorough workplace investigations regarding misconduct, grievances, or policy violations in a fair and timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, labor laws, and ethical standards, especially regarding disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations.
- Partner with Legal, HR Ops, HRBPs, and business leaders to identify trends in employee relations matters and recommend proactive solutions.
- Monitor compliance with labor and employment regulations, both local and international.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of compliance programs (e.g., Code of Conduct, anti-harassment, whistleblower channels).
- Draft clear documentation related to cases, compliance initiatives, and audits.
- Develop training sessions and communication materials on compliance and employee conduct topics.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR to ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies.
- Track and report metrics related to employee relations and compliance, offering insights for leadership decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field. A legal background is highly desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or related areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
