Automotive Parts Specialist

As a skilled Automotive Parts Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our DIY business. Your expertise in store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge, and part knowledge will enable you to provide expert solutions for customers seeking specific parts and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
  • Meet or exceed personal / store sales goals and service objectives
  • Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
  • Perform key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
  • Ensure store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Requirements:
  • Friendly communication skills
  • Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
  • Safety knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in operating inventory systems and store equipment
  • Advanced parts and automotive system knowledge
  • Expertise in operating POS and Parts lookup systems
  • ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
  • Strong ability to recommend advanced solutions, projects, and product quality
  • Excellent parts lookup and sourcing skills
  • Superior selling skills for DIY customers
