Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

This is a high-level software engineer position in a data engineering team.

  • Design and develop scalable data science applications using Python and its frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge technologies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them through the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, test, and deploy robust engineering outcomes in autonomous scrum teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Python, PySpark, and testing with Pytest.
  • Knowledge of backend development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and data ingestion.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive curiosity and innovation, establishing and enforcing standards.
  2. Consistently deliver robust, high-quality, reliable engineering outcomes.
  3. Lead documentation efforts for product architecture and security compliance.
  4. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback for work submitted by other engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data modeling and workflow management tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge of UX principles and clinical domain expertise.
