Job Overview

This is a high-level technical position that involves leading infrastructure design and implementation on Azure. As an expert in Kubernetes and OpenShift, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and craft tailored solutions.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and meeting the highest standards of quality and performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying, managing, and supporting OpenShift clusters on Microsoft Azure, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Azure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain complex automation scripts using languages like Bash and Python.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and develop customized solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and OpenShift, including CLI tools and custom resources.
  • Expertise in integrating Azure services, such as storage, identity, and networking.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python, as well as container management using Docker/Podman.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies.
Preferred Certifications and Knowledge
  • Valued certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Knowledge of policy management tools and vulnerability scanners.
